About the Education Day:
This continuing education program focuses on improving maternal health through the use of current best evidence on the subjects of supporting normal physiologic birth, maternal obesity, perinatal mood disorders, improving safety through teamwork and communication, post-partum hemorrhage, active management of the third stage of labor, and maternal morbidity/mortality in Minnesota and the US.

Keynote speaker: Holly Powell Kennedy, President of the American College of Nurse-Midwives on the topic of normal physiologic birth.

This education day will benefit nurse-midwives, perinatal nurses, obstetrician/gynecologists, family medicine physicians, residents, and doulas.

CEUs/CMEs pending approval.
